Calum Eccleston
As a performance practitioner, Eccleston employs endurance and repetition to interrogate the contemporary resonance of existentialist ideologies; the excavation of meaning and the inherent dilemmas of its physiological dissemination. He has dedicated years refining his approach to the medium through local and international exhibitions alike and was recently awarded the prestigious year-long Graduate Resident Award at the University of Cumbria in Carlisle, England. As a key member of an artist-run space – The Pharmacy, he has also garnered experience in organising exhibitions, residencies, and live events supporting experimental work, discussion and benefitting his cultural community.
